Defending English Premier League Champion


Manchester United stretched their lead at the top of the Premier League to six points after a comfortable 2-0 win at Middlesbrough.

Ji-Sung Park and Ryan Giggs were United's goalscorers at the Riverside.
PFA Player of the Year Ryan Giggs got the first with an angled drive from the edge of the penalty area.

Ji Sung Park then made the game safe in the second half, finishing well after a superb ball from Wayne Rooney.

Sir Alex Ferguson's side are now six points clear of Liverpool, having played the same number of games.
